3pretty but not pleased  Aug 20, 2010 By dezdawn
so i bought the set of headlights, and they look great on, but at night they shoot a beam of light way far in the tops of the trees, plus not 2 weeks after i've bought them, the drivers side light started filling with water, and i mean sloshing around as Im drivin thru the rain. regardless i called the customer service line which doesnt have a voicemail for some odd reason, and spoke w/ i guess what is a manager. he asked me to use a blow dryer and see if i could dry it out myself. yeah right, i just bought these, so i explained i am not going to try and dry it out, i assume its a defective headlight. because the pass. side is fine, so i filled out a rma form and sent in the headlight, although now its been a week and i still havent received my new one, also i'm freakin glad i didnt throw my old ones away, because they made me send in the new one. so needless to say im not a very pleased camper with the whole situation. and still only have one new headlight. i guess we shall see. i dont believe i will go back thru them, although they were the cheapest... so i guess you get what you pay for?

5Looks great, works great, easy to install  Nov 12, 2009 By Kevin B. Robinson "Sarmite"
I replaced my old nasty headlights with these. The entire process only took about 15 minutes, and no tools are necessary. Just pull up the two metal strips holding each headlight in, disconnect the bulbs, pull the headlight out, then do the process in reverse with the new headlights. These were by far the best-priced headlights I could find, and they look great. Just be sure to handle your old turn signal bulbs carefully, as these headlights don't come with turn signal bulbs.

2Beware of Condensation Problems!  Oct 20, 2011 By Matthew Stricklin "Matt"
While I understand that headlight sealant is available on the market, I don't understand why a company can't properly seal the lights in the first place or at the very least notify the customer BEFORE PURCHASING that such work needs to be done. The actual appearance of headlights and xenon bulbs are great (the bulbs are not too blue which for me was a good thing) but the lack of a proper seal makes me rate these 2 stars.

Upon emailing Headlights Depot, I received the following canned response:
"We are so sorry to hear that is happening. A quick fix is to take out the bulb and let a hair dryer run inside the headlight for 2 to 3 minutes. You will see the condensation disappear."

Are you kidding me?! I'm sure I could do that every morning... just let me work that into my morning routine /sarcasm. Ridiculous. Customer service like this is inexcusable... stay away!

3These headlights are a nice upgrade but if it rains or u wash your car water gets in them  Dec 16, 2011 By Mikestuh
The title basically explains it. They look very nice but the started to fog up when i washed my car. When it rained it got way worse so i spent 2 hours drying them out with a blow dryer. I made sure everything was sealed up and put them back on my car hoping this doesnt happen again.

250 / 50  Dec 29, 2011 By whiplash1313
I ordered a set of headlights for my daughter's car. Both fit very well, look great and were easy to install. One headlight assembly leaks water inside when it rains. I contacted the seller and was told someone would get back to me on how to seal it up. I have received no reply for 3 weeks. The assembly that doesn't leak has some smugges/smears on the inside of the plastic that become obvious when the lights are on, but this is a minor issue. I rated the product two stars due to the 50/50 chance the assembly will leak and poor customer service. Not sure I would order them again, without some instructions on how to seal them up before installation.
